American Roll Form is constantly upgrading our equipment in order to maintain our competitive advantage over other fabricators. We strive to keep our equipment the most technically advanced in the industry.

Our goals are to reduce setup time, increase our speeds and improve our tolerances. Working towards these goals can lead to increased problems in other areas. In order to achieve the high standards we hold for our customers we have recently purchased the following equipment:

   

Samco Roll Former with quick-change tooling and auto gauging capabilities
This machine has reduced our set up time from six hours to five minutes and increased our speeds from 53 feet a minute to 200 feet per minute. This is the most technically advanced mill available today.

Rafted Yoder Roll Forming Line with eight stands
This machine will cut our set up time from ten hours to one hour. A Rafted mill allows you to leave the tooling on the stands and pull an entire series of stands off at one time never changing the tooling.

Four Programmable Length Control Units
These units have allowed us to increase our line speeds from 60 feet per minute up to 200 feet per minute and increase our length control tolerances from plus or minus 1/32” to plus or minus 1/64th.

Two Programmable Coe Servo Feeds
These Servo Feeds have allowed us to increase our feed speed from 50 feet per minute to 200 feet per minute with increased accuracy.

250 Ton Bliss Straight Side Press
This press was located at the entrance to our 3” Yoder line and allows us to pre-punch larger patterns and heavier gauges than in the past.

Panasonic Six Axis Robotic Welder
This robotic work cell has allowed us to increase our welding capacity by over three times what was possible with manual welding. Because of the success of this robotic work cell, we are currently in the process of purchasing another one.

New Conveyer System for Powder Line
This new conveyer system has allowed us to run heavier sections through our powder line giving us more capabilities for more weight from before.
